Governing Boards

Trustees

The photo shows directors, Head of School Tim Molak, and outgoing Board of Directors Cair Ray Rothrock. Come back in September for rosters of 2006-2007 governing board.

The Priory is an independent, self-supporting, non-profit school, owned as a corporation by the Benedictine monks of the Priory and St. Anselm College in New Hampshire. The owners are not directly involved in the school, but maintain a policy oversight involvement through a five-member Board of Directors, two of whom are Priory monks and all of whom have spent part of their careers at the Priory.

Current Directors are Abbot Matthew Leavy, Father Mark Cooper, Brother Edward Englund, Father Martin Mager, and Father William Sullivan.

Trustees are among the Priory's most dedicated volunteers. The Board of Trustees' responsibilities are in formulating policy, long-range and strategic planning, evaluation of the Headmaster's effectiveness in implementing policies, resource development, and assisting with school budget matters.

Board members include parents, alumni, alumni parents, representatives of business, civic and professional communities, priests and feeder school representatives, Chapel Friends, and occasionally ex-officio members. As well as, the head of the Parent Association is a member.
