Welcome Committee

Parents, alumni and friends support the Priory with their time and talents as well as their financial contributions. They bring a wide range of invaluable professional and practical skills such as project management, event management, architectural drafting, legal and financial expertise, photography, and more. Their energy and contacts allow students to enjoy such guests as primatologist Jane Goodall, the Children of Uganda dance troupe, the Tibetan monks, and the Young Concert Artists in Residence program. Volunteer follow-through is what keeps the library in order, the events enjoyable, and the holiday decorations fresh and lovely; they are even behind many school community service projects.

Volunteers can serve in various capacities, from leadership on the Board of Trustees and its committees to hands-on help for the Robotics team, athletics events or alumni reunions.

The Annual Fund, Endowment Funds, and Golden Jubilee Campaign are driven by parent and alumni volunteer power. Click on Annual Fund in the left margin to read about these volunteers.

Volunteer roles are always changing, as people come and go, but the value of volunteerism within the school will never change and, to coin a Benedictine phrase, "All are welcome."

The Parent Association's work in supporting the school through volunteer effort is amazing. Click on the thumbnail to read more. To return to this section, click your browser "back" button or the Support the Priory link at the top of any page.
