Foreign Language
Students have many opportunities to experience the culture as well as the language they study. Trips abroad for those who choose, local field trips, and celebration of special holidays and traditions are activities that language students enjoy. They visit local restauraunts and cook traditional foods — French crepes to Japanese sushi. The Spanish classes sponsor at least two campuswide festivals with foods, costumes, dance and music every year, and even the teachers get up and dance.
